The relationships within the biome
Parasitism: is the relationship between two organisms where one organism uses the other, essentially harming the other organism. this can be seen within the chaparral between the Brewers blackbird and the brown-headed cowbirds. the brown-headed cowbirds uses the nest of the brewers blackbird to raise it's young. The brewer blackbird is burdened with raising more babies and typically loses some of it's own young in the process. |
